At CIBC, we’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. We are looking for a Telephone Banking Servicing Agent to work remotely, serving as the first point of contact for clients calling in with questions about their banking needs. You will use your bilingual skills in French and English to deepen relationships and help clients achieve their financial success.
What You'll Do
- Focus on each client experience, connecting on a personal level to deliver an exceptional interaction.
- Engage in meaningful, client-focused conversations to provide trusted advice.
- Help clients manage their accounts and products, effectively completing their requests.
- Listen and ask questions to understand client needs, recommending solutions accordingly.
- Remain solution-focused, identifying opportunities to help clients.
- Use strong knowledge of CIBC systems and products for quick problem resolution.
- Proactively suggest banking options that align with clients' financial goals.
- Connect and refer clients to the right internal contacts and opportunities.
- Understand and leverage other CIBC departments to assist with additional client needs.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec.
- Ability to work independently as an Agent @ Home with a secure, distraction-free workspace.
- A wired Internet connection with a minimum download speed of 15 mbps and upload speed of 10 mbps.
- Residence within a 2-hour radius of the CIBC head office at 1809 Barrington St, Halifax.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours between Monday and Sunday from 7:00 am to Midnight, including evenings and weekends.
- Legal eligibility to work at the specified location, including a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based from the Halifax location at 1809 Barrington St. You will work remotely from a home office.
