Responsibilities
- Develop protocols and architectures for NTN communication systems
- Conduct simulations and modeling of satellite network performance
- Collaborate on the design of end-to-end communication links
- Analyze signal propagation in low Earth orbit environments
- Support integration of NTN into existing telecom infrastructure
- Evaluate modulation and coding schemes for satellite channels
- Perform link budget calculations for space-to-ground transmissions
- Contribute to standardization efforts in 3GPP and other forums
- Troubleshoot technical issues in prototype testing phases
- Optimize network access procedures for mobile terminals
- Work with cross-functional teams on system validation
- Document technical specifications and test results
- Assess interference and spectrum usage in shared bands
- Design experiments for over-the-air performance evaluation
- Support development of user equipment for satellite networks
- Investigate latency and handover challenges in LEO constellations
- Implement software-defined radio solutions for testing
- Evaluate security mechanisms for space-based communications
- Participate in field trials and deployment testing
- Stay current with advancements in 5G and NTN integration
