About the Role

UPS is seeking a Technology Service Group Technician II to ensure the successful execution and implementation of customized IT solutions and organizational initiatives. You will lead the coordination and delivery of an exceptional customer experience for all IT services, support, and project deployments.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the daily cost, staffing, equipment inventory, system compliance, safety, and security of organizational resources, including hardware, software, automation, and network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical training and development to departmental resources and customers.
  • Actively plan, monitor, and adjust expenses to meet and exceed financial expectations and organizational metrics.
  • Apply approved principles for evaluating and setting goals to deliver results.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with customers through face-to-face engagement, collaboration, and consultative interactions.
  • Utilize technology to effectively initiate, deploy, and track projects and support services 24x7.
  • Perform technical, analytical, or maintenance work.
  • Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.

What We're Looking For

  • Must have an active driver's license.
  • This is not a remote role; you must be able to work from an office.
  • Ability to work flexible work schedules Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday, or Sunday-Thursday based on business needs.
  • Ability to work flexible AM or PM 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to travel between buildings using your own car, based on business needs.
  • No relocation assistance is offered; you must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate.
  • Ability to grasp, lift (floor to shoulder height), lower (shoulder height to floor), push, pull, carry, and manipulate equipment, packages, or parts weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with VPN, Citrix, Symantec, Remote Desktop Apps, Active Directory, and various web browsers.
  • Technical Certifications such as A+ or Network+.
  • Technical work experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting thermal printers.
