KPMG Spain is seeking a Technology Audit Junior to join our expanding K-TIA (Technology and Innovation in Audit) team. This role is part of the Game On With AI graduate program for a September 2026 start, designed for recent graduates in STEM fields who are ready to apply their technical skills in an audit context.
What You'll Do
- Understand client IT environments by identifying the technological platform linked to financial statements through interviews and documentation analysis.
- Validate existing controls by evaluating their design, implementation, and effectiveness across logical security, communications, application development, system operations, and business processes.
- Perform automated tests using CAAT and other tools to verify the operation, calculations, integrity, and consistency of specific business processes.
- Issue improvement recommendations to clients on how to remedy weaknesses and improve the controls of their technological platform.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering.
- An intermediate level of English.
- A very responsible person with strong communication, analysis, and organizational skills, as well as initiative, a critical spirit, and eagerness to learn.
Nice to Have
- An MBA or financial/business administration training.
- A good command of computer tools.
- Knowledge of ERPs like SAP Hana or Navision.
- CISA or CISM certification.
- Knowledge of standards and norms like COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27002:2013.
