EngFlow Inc. is looking for a Technical Writer to create, organize, and publish clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for our products. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to produce high-quality content that helps users understand and effectively use our tools.
What You'll Do
- Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and FAQs.
- Organize and structure documentation to enhance usability and accessibility.
- Publish and manage content using documentation platforms and version control systems.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product developments.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for different audiences.
- Maintain consistency and quality in documentation through templates, style guides, and content reviews.
- Gather user feedback to improve documentation and address common pain points.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing for developer tools, SaaS, or cloud platforms.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in a user-friendly way.
- Experience with Markdown, HTML, Git, and documentation tools like MkDocs, Docusaurus, or ReadTheDocs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with CI/CD, build systems, DevOps, or cloud computing.
- Experience with API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with developer communities and open-source projects.
