Quarterhill is looking for a Technical Writer to join our intelligent transportation initiatives. This role supports the Next Generation Platform team, acting as a crucial liaison between platform engineering and business development to translate complex platform capabilities into compelling content.

What You'll Do

Act as the dedicated liaison between the Next Generation Platform team and the business development organization to ensure technical capabilities are accurately represented in proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create accurate, user-friendly technical documentation for our modern, microservices-based intelligent transportation platform.
Support business development efforts by developing and maintaining internal reference documentation, RFP response libraries, and reusable content.
Develop, edit, and maintain customer-facing documentation including user manuals, as-built documents, and training materials, customized for each client deployment.
Translate complex platform concepts into clear, accessible content for technical and operational audiences.
Ensure consistency in voice, style, and terminology across all documentation.
Deliver and manage documentation using the SharePoint documentation repository, following all document control processes.
Support multiple projects simultaneously as needed.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a SaaS, cloud platform, or enterprise software environment.
Demonstrated experience acting as a bridge between technical and business teams.
Experience with SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
Familiarity with API documentation and the ability to interpret technical architecture documents.
Proven ability to organize and prioritize diverse, multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technical Writing, Communications, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Communicates effectively in writing for diverse audiences.
Derives information from technical specifications, RFPs, and architecture documents.
Gives full attention to others, understands points, and asks questions.
Conveys information effectively and concisely during cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with close attention to detail.
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products.
