Artech Information System LLC is seeking a Technical Writer to create, edit, and format complex technical documentation and web content for both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires onsite presence in Minneapolis and involves working with web-based tools and adhering to style guides and documentation standards.
What You'll Do
- Publishing procedures, reference, and forms to Open Text Content Management System
- Consistently edit documents according to provided style guides
- Draft, edit, and format moderately complex to complex process documentation or user guides
- Draft and/or edit moderately complex web content
- Research, analyze, and translate technical information for technical and non-technical users
- Utilize knowledge of HTML, JavaScript languages and other web-based tools to manage a website
- Author original content from information supplied by others or gathered directly
- Conduct audience analysis for moderately complex to complex problems and projects
- Edit technical documentation authored by others
- Ensure documentation is in compliance with internal standards and external regulations
- May participate in establishing documentation guidelines
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years technical documentation and publication experience
- To be located onsite in Minneapolis (no remote access)
- Will not require any overtime hours
- Viable candidates will be asked to provide work samples after initial interview
