Bpinternational is hiring a Technical Writer to play a central role in scaling our internal developer platform across engineering teams and supporting the complete engineering journey from onboarding to shipping products. You will create clear, structured documentation to enable platform adoption, AI tool usage, and engineering productivity.
What You'll Do
- Own and develop documentation that enables the internal developer platform to scale across engineering teams.
- Create onboarding guides, platform usage documentation, architectural overviews, and self-service enablement content for engineers.
- Document standard patterns, workflows, APIs, tooling, and best practices that support consistent platform adoption.
- Partner with platform engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure documentation reflects current capabilities and guardrails.
- Create and maintain documentation that supports the adoption of AI tools, workflows, and capabilities within engineering and adjacent teams.
- Translate AI-related technical concepts, processes, and governance into clear, actionable documentation for engineers and stakeholders.
- Support responsible AI usage by documenting guidelines, constraints, and approved patterns aligned with company policy.
- Develop structured onboarding documentation for engineers covering tools, systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Document engineering standards, design handovers, and internal workflows aligned with energy-industry requirements.
- Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation used throughout the engineering lifecycle.
- Document the end-to-end lifecycle from engineering release through manufacturing readiness, inspection, packing, and shipping.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and consistent handover documentation.
- Ensure documentation supports operational continuity and audit readiness.
- Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, style guides, and version control.
- Ensure documentation meets internal quality standards, regulatory expectations, and audit requirements common in the energy sector.
- Continuously improve content based on user feedback, platform evolution, and process changes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in engineering-led, platform, or industrial environments.
- Strong ability to understand and document developer platforms, engineering workflows, and technical systems.
- Proven experience creating onboarding content, platform documentation, SOPs, and lifecycle documentation.
- Excellent written English with a strong focus on clarity, structure, and usability.
- Experience working closely with engineers, platform teams, and subject-matter experts.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown-based systems, or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience documenting internal developer platforms, DevOps tooling, or cloud-native environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms, AI governance, or enterprise AI adoption.
- Background in energy, oil & gas, power, renewables, or heavy engineering industries.
