Hospitable is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to be the critical bridge between our Customer Support and Engineering teams. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer advocacy to conduct investigations, build tools, and create documentation. It's an ideal position for a Laravel engineer transitioning to a customer-focused role or a support professional moving deeper into a technical career.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain tools using Laravel and Laravel Nova to improve Customer Support team efficiency.
Develop and manage automated workflows within the customer support platform.
Create and update technical documentation and help articles for customers and support staff.
Collaborate to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues escalated from the support team.
Work with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for product improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience with PHP and Laravel, either via employment or outside work.
Experience with customer support platforms, such as Intercom.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Exceptional written communication skills.
Strong technical communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Customer-centric mindset and passion for improving user experiences.
