At Adyen, we are hiring a Technical Support Engineer, Partner to serve as the primary point of contact for our global partners. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, directly influencing partners' ability to implement solutions, process payments, and support merchant growth. What You'll Do
- Be a key source of knowledge on the Adyen platform and APIs, underlying web-stack technologies, and industry-standard integration methods and best practices.
- Assist partners to enable merchants’ full lifecycle, from integration and expansion to operational excellence.
- Be an internal product advocate, track product processes, and contribute to the platform by feeding back partner feedback and issues.
- Advise partners regarding best implementation practices and address specific partner issues.
- Provide a first-class support service.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Technical Support Engineer or Technical Solutions Consultant.
- Experience with payment plugins and/or payment integrations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Innovative, with strong problem-solving capabilities and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly.
- Affinity with APIs, Postman, internet technologies, and knowledge of technical processes like HTML, JavaScript, and Scripting.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, read application logs, and find solutions to complex errors.
- Self-driven, flexible, and able to maintain high productivity with minimal supervision; taking accountability for work and results.
- Previous exposure to environments rich in uncertainty and a track record of successfully dealing with ambiguity.
- You recognize that each partner interaction is a customer service experience and aspire to deliver a seamless global support experience.
- Ability to make quick informed decisions under pressure and prioritize appropriately based on urgency, necessity, and requests.
Nice to Have
- Experience with payment integrations with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Shopify, or similar.
- Experience with payment integrators.
- Experience working with hardware networking or POS environments.
