Teltonika de Chile is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join our team focused on Networking Solutions. In this role, you will provide technical expertise across the Americas region, consulting on complex issues, creating training materials, and ensuring solution quality.
What You'll Do
- Consult employees and customers on technical issues related to devices and solutions.
- Solve technical problems and identify methods to reduce recurring issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, tasks, and training for employees and clients.
- Guide colleagues and customers by developing wiki documentation and conducting training sessions.
- Propose innovative ways to incorporate devices for various use cases.
- Test and perform quality assurance for solutions deployed in the Americas region.
What We're Looking For
- Education or experience in telecommunications, electronics, informatics, or engineering.
- Knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G networks, including authentication and data session establishment.
- Proficiency in computer network architecture, VLANs, and QoS configuration.
- Experience with industrial IoT protocols: Modbus, MQTT, TR-069, JSON-RPC.
- Hands-on experience with embedded, Linux-based systems and SDKs.
- Strong working knowledge of software and operating system principles.
- Ability to write simple bash/ash scripts and use AT commands.
- Knowledge of server technologies, programming languages, and Firewall principles with IPTABLES configuration experience.
- Proven ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good English language skills (minimum B2 level).
