The Field Service Engineer at Motorola Solutions is responsible for installing and supporting WatchGuard Video applications and hardware at client sites throughout the Eastern Region of the United States. This role involves technical implementation, troubleshooting, and training end users on video systems used in public safety, with significant travel required.
What You'll Do
- Install and support WatchGuard Video applications at Client site, these can be Azure cloud based, Linux based, or Windows based depending on the customer
- Develops and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solutions
- Evaluates system specifications for business requirements
- Works closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs
- Install and support WatchGuard Video In-Car Police Video hardware
- Train end users on functionality of end to end usage of the video system
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma, or Technical Certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience in one of the following: LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Telecommunications, and Public Safety experience required
- Must have Comp TIA Certifications for this role
- Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
Nice to Have
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Must have 3+ years of experience working in a Field Service environment preferred
- Must have experience installing and implementing processes
- Ability troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely matter preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license to be considered for this position
- The ability to travel up to 50% within the Eastern Region as needed

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 USD, plus Incentive Bonus Plans and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Local-country role with locations in Eastern Region, US. Over 50% travel required.
