Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other departments.
- Deliver training to customers and plant personnel on machine operation and carton performance.
- Develop skills and competencies to meet business and personal growth goals.
- Adhere to corporate standards for antitrust compliance, information protection, EEO, safety, quality, ethics, and learning.
- Perform job duties safely in uncontrolled environments.
- Wear required safety gear at all times.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Work flexible hours as needed for the role.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment including safety shoes, hearing and eye protection, gloves, and other assigned PPE.
- Operate tools and equipment such as writing utensils, radios, phones, computers, printers, fax machines, calculators, and relevant software.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical skills and technical knowledge.
- Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-motivated to work independently and in teams as needed.
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time with extended periods away from home.
- Valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to stand for long periods on level concrete surfaces.
- Ability to walk on level concrete surfaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with one or two hands.
- Ability to climb steps and levels in office and manufacturing areas.
- Ability to grasp items such as computer mice, door handles, file cabinet pulls, tools, and luggage.
- Close visual acuity for computer tasks, spreadsheets, and financial data.
- Ability to drive for 1 to 6 hours to reach customer facilities.
