Wärtsilä is looking for a Technical Sales Support Manager with a strong electrical and/or automation engineering background to join the Technical Sales Support team within our Energy Business. This senior role provides essential techno-commercial sales support for front-end sales and proposal teams, participates in customer clarification meetings, and collaborates within a team of diverse expertise.
What You'll Do
- Support proposal management and business development managers with techno-commercial proposals and other proposal, design, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure that technical offers and contract documents are fully aligned.
- Support Business Development Managers in building value, uncovering customer needs and requirements, and proposing the technical setup of products, systems, and solutions.
- Support proposal management with clarifications, deviations, risk management, and mitigation of technical RFQ specifications and project requirements.
- Participate in or lead technical clarifications and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders within your own discipline.
- Perform technical and commercial evaluations of supplier offers.
- Provide input and/or participate in product, system, and solution development activities.
- Support and participate in Win/Loss sales project analysis.
What We're Looking For
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Cultural knowledge and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive mindset, cost awareness, and strong organizational skills.
- The ability to communicate professionally in English.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of other languages is considered a benefit.
- Knowledge of power generation and power grids is considered an advantage.
