About the Role
This role involves leading the planning and execution of complex data center deployments, ensuring technical accuracy, schedule adherence, and seamless coordination across teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment of data center infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and facilities teams to align project goals
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones
- Track project progress and report status to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks affecting project timelines or deliverables
- Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards
- Manage procurement and logistics for hardware and equipment
- Oversee installation and commissioning of data center systems
- Facilitate technical reviews and design validation sessions
- Translate engineering specifications into actionable project plans
- Support vendor coordination and contract oversight
- Ensure documentation is complete and up to date
- Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes
- Maintain alignment with architectural and scalability requirements
- Troubleshoot deployment challenges with technical teams
- Serve as primary point of contact for project execution
- Enforce quality assurance across deployment phases
- Monitor budget adherence and resource allocation
- Implement change management procedures
- Foster communication between global teams and regional stakeholders
- Support post-deployment handover and operations readiness
- Utilize project management tools for planning and tracking
- Ensure alignment with sustainability and energy efficiency goals
- Lead root cause analysis for deployment issues
- Drive closure of punch list items and project deliverables
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in engineering or technical management
- Direct experience with hyperscale data center builds
