What You'll Do
Work closely with sales, engineering, and customer teams across Europe to assess technical requirements and design effective solutions in grid and substation automation. Translate complex power system challenges into clear, customer-focused strategies that support reliable, digital energy networks.
Deliver technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations that clearly explain the advantages and real-world impact of proposed systems. Develop detailed solution architectures and proposals that align with both client expectations and industry standards.
Act as a technical advisor throughout the sales process, answering in-depth questions, guiding stakeholders, and helping close key opportunities. Support proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot deployments to validate performance and ensure successful outcomes.
Stay current with advancements in renewable energy, offshore wind, and industrial automation technologies. Share customer insights and market trends to help shape future product development and strengthen solution offerings.
Collaborate on creating technical documentation, sales resources, and training materials. Build lasting relationships with technical and executive-level clients to support long-term engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years in technical presales, solutions design, or field application engineering within power systems or industrial automation
- Strong grasp of SCADA, grid infrastructure, and power system operations
- Proven ability to convert business needs into technical designs, both verbally and in written form
- Experience developing proposals, technical architectures, and project documentation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel within Europe, up to 20% of the time
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on customer success
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with renewable energy systems, substation automation, or offshore wind projects
- Proficiency in additional European languages
