Key Responsibilities
- Establish and evolve frontend architectural standards for large-scale applications
- Lead modernization initiatives to transition legacy systems to current best practices and frameworks
- Serve as the primary technical authority for frontend decisions across teams
- Conduct code reviews, define testing protocols, and integrate CI pipelines to uphold code integrity
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to align technical execution with business objectives
- Mentor frontend developers and support their technical growth through guidance and feedback
- Plan and prioritize refactoring efforts to reduce technical debt without disrupting delivery timelines
- Document architectural decisions and promote consistency across codebases
Qualifications
Candidates should bring over a decade of software development experience, including significant time in technical leadership. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is expected. You must have deep experience with React or Angular in enterprise-level applications and a proven ability to design maintainable frontend systems.
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks, continuous integration, and frontend tooling is essential. You should also be skilled at guiding teams through architectural challenges and legacy modernization. Familiarity with backend technologies and API design—particularly in PHP, Node.js, or NestJS—will support cross-system decision-making.
Fluency in English at B2 level or higher is preferred to engage effectively in technical discussions. Experience within Agile environments, including participation in planning and estimation cycles, is an asset. Exposure to emerging frontend ecosystems beyond core frameworks is also valued.
