bet365 is looking for a Technical Lead for our Verification team, which is undertaking a significant, ground-up re-architecture of its core platform. You will drive the development and implementation of robust verification systems that ensure the highest quality standards for our business-critical software products.
What You'll Do
- Develop, enhance, and support our business-critical Verification platform.
- Deliver real-time facial recognition systems using innovative AI technology.
- Apply active governance around overall solution design, code quality, and coding standards.
- Assist in driving the provision of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
- Act as a point of escalation for the team both in and out of office hours.
- Review the team’s adherence and output.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Take responsibility for work estimation, producing solution documents, and accurately portraying effort.
- Understand the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the systems the team is responsible for.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders, including managers and Architects, to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Own technical solutions from development to live at a low level.
- Distribute knowledge and mentor team members.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience with leading development solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in mentoring and coaching a team.
- Good technical documentation skills.
- High standards of work and attention to detail.
- Proven track record in high availability, multi-browser compatible development.
- Experience working with high availability, multi-user, service-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.
