Bombardier is looking for a Technical Expert – Electrical Systems Integration to join our team responsible for developing and maintaining industry-leading electrical power, distribution, and lighting systems across our aircraft family. You'll provide critical support for all Bombardier products, driving innovation and ensuring the highest standards of excellence.
What You'll Do
- Participate in and lead technical improvements and developments of electrical systems for existing and future aircraft programs.
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering documents for modifications to electrical systems on Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 aircraft.
- Propose, develop, and test innovative approaches to optimize business jets in areas such as emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems.
- Conduct benchmarking studies for the introduction and integration of new technologies.
- Contribute to the electrical knowledge domain to capture lessons learned and mentor junior team members.
- Manage technical relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers.
- Represent the electrical discipline to internal and external collaborators.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical systems integration or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD) and airworthiness regulations (TCCA, FAA, EASA).
- Excellent analytical and systems thinking skills to structure complex problems and ensure clear cross-disciplinary communication.
- Effective communication skills, able to adapt technical concepts for diverse audiences and clearly present progress and risks to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and motivation to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Skills and interest to potentially occupy the role of Transport Canada Delegated Engineer (DAD) at Bombardier.
