Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site and remote missions to assist dealerships, authorized repairers, and technical centers across Europe, aiming to reduce vehicle downtime and backlog.
- Identify and fix intricate technical problems on customer vehicles, including advanced electrical/electronic and multiplexing issues.
- Examine problems affecting individual vehicles and systemic issues impacting multiple vehicles, and provide containment and corrective measures.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., wiTECH POD, DiagBOX VCI) to perform guided diagnostics, software updates, reprogramming, and parameterization.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins to determine root causes and develop repair strategies.
- Create detailed technical reports, incident summaries, and action plans, and communicate findings to engineering, quality, and aftersales teams.
- Participate in the Technical Assistance process, including case management, escalation, and closure, ensuring adherence to KPIs and service levels.
- Collaborate with and mentor multidisciplinary teams at the repair site, delivering on-the-job training and knowledge sharing to technicians.
- Document recurring issues and lessons learned in knowledge bases and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure safe working practices and cost-effective decision-making throughout diagnostics and repair support.
- Manage tools, equipment, and logistics for missions, and maintain accurate records of cases, time, and priorities.
