Sperasoft is hiring a Technical Artist to serve as the critical link between engineering and art teams. In this role, you will streamline asset production, create tools and shaders, and optimize performance within Unreal Engine.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers and artists to assist, enhance, and streamline asset production
- Create tools for asset management within the game engine
- Develop new shaders and update existing ones
- Optimize assets, shaders, and pipelines according to provided hardware specifications
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot technical issues
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Prepare documentation for pipelines and tools
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in game development
- Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5
- Excellent understanding of Blueprints and Editor Utility Widgets
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, C#, C++)
- Experience in writing shaders, e.g., UE4/UE5 Materials system, HLSL, GLSL
- Art tools production experience
- Self-motivation, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-player attitude
- English level: intermediate or higher
