Tether Operations Limited is hiring a Technical Architect to bridge technical strategy and hands-on implementation. In this role, you will design scalable architectures across applications, SDKs, SaaS platforms, and distributed systems, serving as a guide for system design and evolution within a fast-growing fintech leader.
What You'll Do
- Design robust and scalable architectures for systems (apps, SDKs, SaaS platforms) tailored for our specific tech stack.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, practical architectures.
- Write and review technical proposals to ensure alignment with architectural principles and long-term technical direction.
- Contribute to guiding development through code reviews, building PoCs, defining skeleton structures, and ensuring technical consistency.
- Promote architectural standards and best practices across the organization for consistency and sustainable development.
- Analyze and document existing architectures using open standards like the C4 model to visualize and communicate system design.
- Detect and explain core algorithms and design patterns that form the backbone of key systems in simple terms.
- Identify and record Important Technical Decisions (ITDs), ensuring they are captured, reviewed, and traceable.
- Evaluate and evolve existing architectures to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Mentor and enable engineering teams in system design, architectural principles, and documentation best practices.
- Keep up to date with new tools, frameworks, and ideas to proactively improve systems, processes, and developer experience.

- Proven real-world architecture experience.
- Deep technical understanding across the stack (apps, SDKs, SaaS platforms, distributed systems).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical knowledge into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing architectures.
- Experience working collaboratively with engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
