Lead the architecture and implementation of key web platforms and browser extensions while mentoring engineers and shaping product direction through technical innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of core web application features
- Own the architecture and long-term scalability of web platforms
- Guide the evolution of a high-impact Chrome extension used by millions
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical roadmaps
- Mentor software engineers and promote best coding practices
- Optimize frontend performance and loading speed across devices
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and implement reliable fixes
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve product capabilities
- Drive adoption of modern JavaScript frameworks and tooling
- Improve accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Work closely with backend teams to define efficient APIs
- Monitor application performance and usage metrics
- Lead technical planning for feature rollouts and iterations
- Promote security best practices in frontend and extension code
- Contribute to engineering standards and internal documentation
- Support A/B testing and data-driven product decisions
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations in client-side code
- Coordinate with QA to maintain high release quality
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
