Fiserv Solutions LLC is looking for a Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering to leverage deep Tandem systems knowledge supporting Card Services Card Management Applications. In this role, you will deliver high-quality mainframe solutions by developing support utilities, implementing configurations and code, addressing escalated requests, and automating tasks.

What You'll Do

Consult with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services.
Support existing business systems applications and demonstrate proficiency and leadership within agile methodologies.
Balance and prioritize project work efficiently.
Design applications, analyze, lead, and coordinate business enterprise solutions.
Develop high performance microservices and set high standards of code quality.
Leverage knowledge of Tandem systems to focus on production and non-production technology systems.
Develop support utilities and applications for managing Card Services Card Management Applications.
Implement Card Master configurations.
Implement all code required to support the Card Management application system.
Address client, vendor, or internal escalated requests for assistance.
Engage with implementation, systems, and/or development teams on the build-out of Tandem services.
Improve execution by scripting repetitive tasks and automating error notification.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant work experience.
IT experience with background in development or operations support.
Minimum of 5 years in support of a transaction processing Internet application or Internet Banking.
Advanced technical skills in Tandem Non-Stop environment (pathway, netbatch, enform, tacl).
A good understanding of data communications protocols such as TCP/IP.
Experience in full software development life cycle using agile methodologies.
Ability to analyze business requirements, functional and technical designs, business level documentation and code development.
Install code changes and identify root-cause analysis.
Strong technical experience with design, development, modeling, application performance tuning, and unit, integration, and performance testing.
Experience working with remote and offshore development teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses a broad and comprehensive understanding of the different systems, products, and services in the market/organization and practices of relevant discipline.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience using Tandem.
Working experience in COBOL85 programming, TAL, TACL, Scup, Pathway or any other switch on Tandem platform.
Knowledge of financial technologies, standards, and industry regulations (i.e., Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
Knowledge of and experience with JIRA, Service Point and Confluence products.
Prior technical lead role experience.
