Next Generation Inc is hiring a Technical Project Manager - HCM & ERP Integration (Hybrid)

About the Role

Lead the planning and execution of Oracle HCM and ERP integration initiatives using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). This role is responsible for guiding technical projects from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, system integrity, and client expectations. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, the position operates in a hybrid work environment with regular on-site collaboration.

What You'll Do

Oversee full lifecycle integration projects, coordinating between business units, IT teams, and external stakeholders to define goals, timelines, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, track progress against milestones, and manage budgets to ensure timely and in-scope completion. Act as the main liaison for client communication, maintaining transparency and managing expectations throughout the engagement.

Direct a team of integration developers, fostering collaboration and accountability. Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. Use performance metrics to monitor outcomes and report updates to leadership and stakeholders. Provide technical oversight during testing phases to validate system functionality and data accuracy.

Ensure all work adheres to organizational and regulatory standards. Lead post-implementation knowledge transfer sessions and training for both internal teams and clients to support long-term success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of project management experience with Oracle HCM and ERP systems
  • Proven experience with Oracle Cloud applications and integration patterns
  • Hands-on technical background using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for system integrations
  • Familiarity with Oracle HCM and ERP module dependencies
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex technical initiatives on schedule and within budget
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled in problem-solving and navigating ambiguous or fast-changing environments
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, or equivalent certification
