What You'll Do
Guide a team of engineers focused on developing robust, scalable infrastructure for machine learning workflows in automated driving. Provide hands-on technical leadership to design and implement systems that handle multi-sensor data at scale. Shape architectural direction for cloud-based services, including data ingestion, workflow orchestration, and distributed training pipelines.
Lead the adoption of advanced MLOps practices such as experiment tracking, model artifact management, and automated deployment strategies. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning systems into production environments, emphasizing reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, plus 7+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years)
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership or senior architect role
- Proven experience building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms for machine learning applications
- Strong background in designing and optimizing data pipelines for machine learning, including data generation, processing, and large-scale training
- Proficiency in Python for developing high-performance, production-grade systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex software projects from concept through deployment, with emphasis on scalability and stability
- Experience architecting software solutions for autonomous or safety-critical systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Ray, PyTorch, Dagster, LakeFS, or PyArrow
- Background in multi-sensor data fusion and processing for autonomous vehicles
- Familiarity with safety-critical software development in automotive or robotics contexts
- Deep understanding of machine learning, computer vision, and challenges in L2/L3 autonomous driving
