Draper is looking for a Technician A (Elec/Mech) to perform skilled laboratory work under limited supervision. In this onsite role, you will join multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative engineering and scientific environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, and/or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
- Operate complex automated or semi-automated equipment for hardware production.
- Document your work consistent with work unit policy.
- Receive focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions.
- Complete other assignments as directed by your supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate from a two-year technical school or equivalent years of experience.
- A combination of two years of technical education and two years of experience, or four years of applicable experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to perform manual labor and operate automated and semi-automated equipment.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, which requires proof of US citizenship.
