Wärtsilä is seeking a Team Leader, Field Service for its Energy Business in the North Region. You will be responsible for leading and developing the Field Service Team in accordance with the strategy, action plan, and business needs.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate Field Service demand throughout the year and define appropriate actions, including recruiting.
- Develop your team's competencies to address current and future business needs.
- Ensure effective team utilization, having the right people in the right place at the right time.
- Foster strategic relationships with institutes of learning to attract and develop talent.
- Manage internal and external relationships focused on achieving company targets.
- Facilitate good collaboration with key stakeholders throughout the delivery chain.
- Contribute to the annual budget preparation and service forecast evaluations.
- Set individual performance and development targets for your team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of managerial or leadership experience.
- Understanding of the Field Service process.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with process tools such as SalesForce (CRM), Qlikview, and FS Mobility.
- High integrity and a customer focus.
- Passionate about people with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in languages needed to support the team.
- Good negotiating and strong organizational skills.
- Team player mindset with the ability to lead persons of different cultural backgrounds.
- Good understanding of profit and loss and cost to serve.
