Construction & Property Group – UK is looking for a reliable and efficient Tax Preparer to join our team remotely. This role focuses on preparing personal tax returns using ProSeries, requiring strong knowledge of current tax laws and the ability to work independently during busy periods.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and file individual (Form 1040) tax returns using ProSeries.
- Review client financial documents including W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, and K-1s.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state tax regulations.
- Identify eligible deductions and credits to maximize client returns.
- Verify the accuracy of completed returns prior to submission.
- Communicate professionally with clients to obtain missing information and clarify details.
What We're Looking For
- Prior hands-on experience preparing personal tax returns in ProSeries.
- Strong understanding of current federal and state tax codes.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient working style.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple returns simultaneously.
- High level of responsibility and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
