Braze is seeking a Tax Accountant Intern to provide key support for a variety of functions on our Accounting team. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate tax and entity management, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.
What You'll Do
- Register new corporate entities with Secretaries of State
- Process modifications to existing entity information with the Secretaries of State
- Create new state payroll and tax accounts
- Review and help resolve state notices
- Assist with other tax-related projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Tax, or Finance from an accredited college or university
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Nice to Have
- Working towards an industry certification such as CMA or CPA
- Experience using Netsuite
