Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for positions across various offices, disciplines, and experience levels, from initial intake and strategy development through offer acceptance.
- Collaborate with hiring teams to grasp business needs, role requirements, candidate profiles, timelines, and market conditions before initiating a search.
- Create sourcing and outreach strategies tailored to the role, location, talent market, and hiring team requirements.
- Actively identify and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, SmartRecruiters, professional networks, and other sourcing tools.
- Develop and sustain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Handle job postings, applicant flow, candidate communication, interviews, feedback, references, and other recruiting activities within SmartRecruiters.
- Act as a recruiting partner to hiring managers and operational leaders, offering market insights, recruiting recommendations, and practical guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Adjust recruiting strategies to support independently operating teams while introducing consistency and best practices where beneficial.
- Assist hiring teams in defining candidate profiles, evaluating talent markets, and modifying recruiting approaches when searches require a different strategy.
- Balance multiple concurrent searches and priorities while maintaining communication with hiring teams and candidates.
- Work with administrative and operational staff to coordinate recruiting activities and ensure searches progress efficiently.
- Use recruiting data, candidate feedback, and market information to identify opportunities for improving recruiting strategies and processes.
- Build relationships with prospective candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach and ongoing engagement.
- Guide candidates through the recruiting process with clear, timely communication and an understanding of each team's opportunity and culture.
- Help hiring teams create an organized, engaging, and responsive interview experience.
- Collaborate closely with other Talent Acquisition team members to share talent, sourcing strategies, market knowledge, and recruiting best practices.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruiting tools, processes, candidate engagement, and hiring team support.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within professional services, consulting, engineering, architecture, construction, technology, or another technical environment.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates, including strong working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS or CRM databases.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Comfortable managing multiple searches with different priorities, stakeholders, and timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop effective candidate outreach and communicate confidently with candidates and hiring teams.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with attention to both the candidate experience and the details required to keep searches moving.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System.
- Comfortable using recruiting data and market information to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and inform recruiting strategies.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in an environment where teams may have different processes, priorities, and decision-making styles.
- Curious, collaborative, and comfortable asking questions, offering recommendations, and building trusted relationships with hiring teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SmartRecruiters is a plus.
- Familiarity with AEC roles, terminology, or talent markets is helpful, but direct AEC recruiting experience is not required.

- This is a work-from-home position, not a location-independent position.
- Candidates must be based in the United States and able to work standard business hours aligned with the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

- Occasional travel for team meetings, recruiting activities, and office visits may be required.
- Primarily a work-from-home role requiring prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and participation in virtual meetings.

- Regular use of standard office technology, including a computer, headset, phone, and video conferencing tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in virtual and in-person settings.
