Ethos was looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (6 Month Contract, Remote - Eastern Europe)

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join TensorOps on a 6-month contract. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top-tier engineering talent to help us scale. This remote role focuses on proactive sourcing to build pipelines for specialized technical roles across Eastern Europe and Portugal.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the hiring process for assigned technical and non-technical roles, moving candidates from application to offer.
  • Locate and engage passive candidates using advanced sourcing techniques like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and X-Ray, specifically targeting the Eastern European and Portugal tech market.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of talent for niche roles in MLOps, GenAI, and Cloud Engineering.
  • Build strong relationships with technical leads and partners to align on requirements and provide consultation on market trends.
  • Ensure a seamless, transparent, and positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback.
  • Leverage AI and data to drive informed hiring decisions and provide weekly updates on pipeline health.
  • Foster internal engagement to encourage employee-driven talent referrals.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience as an in-house recruiter or agency recruiter working with deep-tech or consultancy companies.
  • Specific experience hiring for technical roles in Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, etc.) and Portugal.
  • A strong ability to understand technical requirements and hold credible conversations with engineering talent.
  • Hands-on experience managing the end-to-end hiring process, including writing JDs, scheduling, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Proven track record of finding and activating passive candidates.
  • Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with Native/Fluent level English.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience specifically recruiting for AI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering roles.
  • Experience working with Greenhouse (ATS).
  • Background in a technical consultancy or professional services environment.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools to optimize the recruiting workflow.
  • Additional European languages.

Team & Environment

You will be a key member of the People Team, partnering closely with technical hiring managers as part of a tight-knit team of experts.

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Eastern Europe.
