Toast is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hiring for our Customer Success organization. In this role, you will build the engine that attracts and hires top talent across Customer Care and Operational Excellence. You’ll manage a team and own strategic partnerships within these high-volume, customer-facing functions.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team to consistently meet and exceed ambitious hiring goals for Customer Care and Onboarding, ensuring deadlines and class targets are achieved.
- Drive hiring plans and ensure the team is pacing to achieve headcount plan, while navigating changes from new remits and global expansion.
- Act as a strategic partner to Customer Success Leadership, Finance, and People teams, leveraging data and market insights to build hiring strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Focus on strong stakeholder management with senior team members, including Directors and VPs.
- Drive operational excellence by owning recruiting metrics and identifying opportunities for process improvements and scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Recommend and implement new processes and policies that enhance the efficiency and scalability of Customer Success hiring.
- Champion equitable hiring practices and coach teams to build talent pipelines that reflect the diversity of the communities served.
- Actively coach and mentor teams, fostering a culture of high performance, psychological safety, and continuous development.
- Lead teams through evolving priorities and manage team bandwidth and complexities in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner, using data to influence senior leaders and drive business outcomes.
- A track record of driving operational improvements and scaling recruiting functions.
- A deep commitment to building diverse and inclusive teams.
- Experience with high-volume hiring and managing hiring plans for multiple verticals or senior stakeholders simultaneously.
- Ability to lead and elevate a team of high-caliber Talent Acquisition Partners.
- Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in identifying inconsistencies during the hiring process and advocating for fairness and equitable processes.

Team & Environment
You will manage a full team of Customer Success Talent Acquisition Partners, which is approximately 5 direct reports. You will report to and partner closely with Customer Success leadership.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation Range: $117,000—$187,000 USD.
