Delta Faucet Company is hiring a Systems Test Engineer

About the Role

As a Systems Test Engineer, you will help lead our traditionally mechanical company into new possibilities by adding intelligence, capabilities, and IoT connected technology to our products. You'll explore water's place in smart homes, invent ways to use water more efficiently, and improve water quality.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, develop, and execute verification plans and test cases for complex IoT systems including embedded products, mobile devices, and the cloud.
  • Coordinate with the team to plan for any needed equipment necessary to validate the product.
  • Help with product verification according to: Inspection, Analysis, Demonstration, and Test.
  • Execute various types of testing: functional, regression, performance, and acceptance.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects; collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to stakeholders.
  • Participate in design reviews to influence product quality early in the lifecycle.
  • Participate in the development of product requirements for the purpose of developing the verification plan simultaneously.
  • Support the development of P-Diagrams, DFMEAs, etc. to ensure proper verification coverage.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technology field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience verifying complex end-to-end IoT enabled solutions and/or products.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of INCOSE; certification is not required but preferred.

  • Connectivity (especially BLE, WiFi, and Thread)
  • Cybersecurity (including maintenance, updates, offensive/penetration testing)
