At Lely, we are looking for a Junior Software Test Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our robotic solutions. You will be responsible for verifying that new software features are technically sound, user-friendly, and stable. You’ll join a multidisciplinary Scrum team within Product Development.
What You'll Do
- Create and execute test cases for new and existing software functionalities.
- Review test approaches and results together with colleagues.
- Apply various testing methodologies, such as risk-based testing and integration testing.
- Analyze test results and communicate them clearly to the development team.
- Contribute to quality considerations for new features and improvements to our robot software.
- Learn and understand how our robots function as a complete system.
What We're Looking For
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of work and thinking.
- Approximately 0–2 years of work experience; internships or graduation projects in software or testing also count.
- Experience with embedded software and technology.
- The ability to create test cases in a structured manner and work systematically.
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- You are curious, analytical, and enjoy figuring out how systems really work.
- You are energized by collaboration and are not afraid to ask questions or think critically.
Nice to Have
- A technical education is a plus.
- Experience with robots or Agile/Scrum is beneficial.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a multidisciplinary Scrum team within Product Development that works on one specific Lely product. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Owners, and other Test Engineers.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid role based in Maassluis, Nederland. You will work at least three days a week on Campus, with flexible working hours.
