At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are looking for a Systems Specialist to transform technology into opportunity by providing essential technical support and troubleshooting services for computer systems, software, and hardware, responding to queries both in person and over the phone.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and systems hardware and software.
- Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
- Provide remote support access through desktop mirroring and other applications for worldwide sites.
- Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up on user problems related to cloud infrastructure.
- Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- US Citizenship.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software both in person and via remote access.
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of relevant assigned technology.
- Ability to work On-Site in Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Ability to work the following shift: M-F 10am-6pm.
