Responsibilities
- Manage and advance a distributed AWS setup spanning multiple accounts and regions, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, Aurora, S3, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.
- Enhance and automate deployment workflows using GitHub Actions to enable rapid, stable, and secure software releases.
- Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code, applying Terraform for tenant environments and AWS SAM or CloudFormation for application rollouts.
- Develop and refine monitoring and observability systems using Sentry, CloudWatch, and X-Ray to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Enforce security and compliance standards by applying best practices in access management, data encryption, and network protection.
- Work closely with developers to improve development workflows and design applications for high availability and fault tolerance.
- Automate and maintain a multi-tenant architecture with strong separation between tenants and optimized resource usage.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated expertise with major cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and readiness to operate extensively within an AWS ecosystem.
- Familiarity with core technologies including serverless architectures, relational and NoSQL databases, and virtual networking.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Understanding of containerization using Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, with a preference for Python.
- Self-driven work style with a history of owning initiatives from planning through execution.
- Strong English communication skills and a cooperative approach to teamwork.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Aurora, Chalice, and QuickSight.
- Background in operating and maintaining multi-tenant SaaS systems.
- Knowledge of database administration and performance tuning for MySQL and OpenSearch.
