Personal Pay is looking for a Systems Engineer to design, validate, and optimize the technical solutions that guarantee the quality, scalability, and performance of the digital services we offer to millions of people. What You'll Do
- Transform business ideas and needs into clear, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions.
- Design functional flows and architectures that guide the implementation of high-impact solutions.
- Actively participate in the discovery and refinement of user stories, ensuring their technical feasibility.
- Support the team during delivery by resolving technical doubts and promoting coherence between components.
- Serve as a technical reference within the squad, promoting good engineering and quality practices.
- Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, and Mobile teams to ensure a consistent cross-device experience.
- Document technical decisions clearly and accessibly.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation plans to ensure reliable, high-quality deliveries.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge in designing cross-device solutions (Web, Mobile, STV) and coordinating between technical teams.
- Experience with architecture patterns and good engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, TDD, clean code).
- Ability to define and monitor technical KPIs or performance metrics.
- Experience with high-traffic digital products or content/streaming platforms.
- Systemic thinking, with the ability to understand the technical and functional impact of each decision.
- Effective communication to translate technical concepts into functional language and facilitate collaborative work.
- Proactivity and ownership, with a focus on resolution, anticipating problems, and driving initiatives.
- A focus on quality and results, with a critical eye and commitment to continuous improvement.
