ActioNet, Inc. is hiring a Senior Mobile Broadband Engineer to design and sustain mobile broadband and cellular-related services across BAN. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and smooth operation of both legacy and modernized communications networks.
What You'll Do
- Design mobile broadband/cellular-related services across BAN, understanding requirements and ensuring standards are followed for spectrum use, antennae placement, power requirements, and back-haul connectivity.
- Ensure integrity and smooth operation of legacy and modernized communications networks, troubleshooting network problems and optimizing capacity.
- Install and configure broadband systems and networks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to broadband systems.
- Monitor and analyze system performance.
- Perform regular maintenance on broadband systems to ensure longevity and optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with Network Engineers to optimize network capacity and performance.
- Test new broadband technologies before they are rolled out.
- Document installation, maintenance, and repair for future reference.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards during design, installation, and maintenance of mobile broadband systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
What We're Looking For
- A technical BA/BS degree and 7 years of experience, OR a High School diploma/associate degree plus a minimum of 10 years performing as a Broadband Engineer on large, complex networks.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and SharePoint.
- Proficient in broadband system technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocol and infrastructure.
- Certification(s): CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+.
- Clearance: Active Secret.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve faults promptly and efficiently.
- Position requires up to 25% travel.
- This is a Mission Essential designated position per DFARS 252.237-7023.
