What You'll Do
Support the stability and performance of large-scale enterprise networks by diagnosing and resolving network faults across wired, wireless, and mobile broadband systems. You'll respond to incidents, perform break/fix operations, and ensure services are restored promptly.
Monitor network dashboards to detect issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions. You'll handle escalated troubleshooting, lead problem resolution efforts, and support remote access technologies including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
Collaborate with teams to coordinate change implementations, conduct site surveys, and contribute to network configuration and engineering tasks. You’ll also maintain compliance with SLAs and adapt to new technologies as they are integrated into the environment.
Requirements
You must have a technical bachelor’s degree or associate degree plus relevant experience in network operations. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience supporting complex network infrastructures in a NOC setting is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio—is expected.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (such as CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-Security) and CCNA or equivalent knowledge are mandatory. You must hold an active Secret clearance. Experience with Cisco CLI, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), firewalls, WAN accelerators, and wireless technologies is essential.
