The IT Support Intern will assist in providing technical support, maintaining IT assets, deploying systems, and supporting on-site operations at LEARN Corporation, a leading EdTech company in Thailand focused on lifelong learning. This internship offers hands-on experience across hardware, software, and user support in a dynamic, education-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Assist in providing day-to-day technical support for user requests and troubleshooting.
- Help maintain the IT Asset Inventory and learn how to track hardware/software life cycles.
- Learn to diagnose, repair, or replace damaged hardware and assist in communicating with vendors for repairs.
- Gain hands-on experience in PC/Notebook builds, configuration, and software installation (Windows 10/11, MacOS, and Ubuntu).
- Learn the basics of Active Directory (AD) management, including account creation, maintenance, and distribution list setups.
- Assist users with remote access tools (VPN/VDI/RDP) and online meeting platforms like Google Meet and Zoom.
- Help update technical manuals regarding IT operations, procedures, and network schematics.
- Support the team in office movements (relocating IT equipment) and occasionally travel to other branches for on-site support.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A strong interest in IT Infrastructure and a basic understanding of hardware, software, and networking.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn how to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Open-mindedness and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- A strong desire to help others and provide a positive "customer service" experience for internal staff.
