i3 is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to plan, design, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems. You will provide direct support in day-to-day operations while maintaining the reliability and robustness of the underlying infrastructure that supports the forensic and investigative ecosystem across multi-enclave environments.

What You'll Do

Supervise, coordinate, design, develop, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems
Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems
Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels
Participate in planning, design, technical review, and implementation for new network infrastructure
Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments
Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP
Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems
Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks
Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy
Advise on selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
Experience with the SAFe Agile framework
Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments
