Gov2X is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to apply and expand their technical skills supporting customer mission objectives. You will join a team responsible for building solutions, implementing software and hardware, and designing current and next-generation systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform server administration tasks including user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and resource monitoring to ensure seamless system architecture
- Monitor infrastructure health and respond to issues; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
- Maintain internal infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and security updates
- Support developers in a fast-paced DevOps environment; research new technologies and implement custom solutions to support customer missions
What We're Looking For
- Proven work experience in IT
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems
- Experience with current network equipment, modern datacenter server technology, system monitoring tools, directory services, KVM and VMware virtualization, HTTP services, and containerization technologies
- Experience analyzing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with shared storage technologies such as NAS, SAN, or clustered file systems
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required; must be willing to undergo a Polygraph examination
Nice to Have
- Scripting (bash, Python, Powershell or similar) and/or automation (Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc) experience
