About the Role
The role involves managing server environments, supporting network operations, and ensuring system security and efficiency across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure for optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly
- Implement and manage system backups and disaster recovery plans
- Support network configurations and connectivity across locations
- Perform regular system updates and security patching
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Troubleshoot technical problems reported by end users
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
- Assist with cloud service integration and management
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
- Deploy and configure new systems and workstations
- Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization
- Respond to after-hours incidents as needed
- Support virtualization platforms and containerized environments
- Track and manage IT inventory and assets
- Conduct routine system audits and vulnerability assessments
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employee technology access
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members
- Participate in capacity planning and system scalability efforts
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, RHCE, or Microsoft MCSE
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
- Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
- Experience with endpoint management solutions
- Background in automation of system tasks
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of data privacy regulations

- Prior work in a staffing or services-oriented company
