Jobgether is hiring a System/Network Engineer to design, maintain, and secure the enterprise-level IT infrastructure supporting our global operation. You will work across both cloud and on-premise systems to ensure high performance, resilience, and security while contributing to long-term infrastructure strategies.
What You'll Do
- Design, install, configure, and maintain infrastructure hardware and software, including servers, SANs, and virtual environments.
- Operate and support large-scale network infrastructures across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues across network, server, security, and hardware layers.
- Collaborate with the global infrastructure team to deploy enterprise-wide solutions.
- Ensure domain, Active Directory, and enterprise applications are configured, secure, and optimized.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date infrastructure documentation.
- Monitor systems proactively to identify and address performance or capacity issues.
- Recommend and implement technical improvements to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide input on network strategies and contribute to defining future technology standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in System Administration or Engineering within large or complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2008–2025) and Windows 11.
- Experience with Linux distributions (Rocky, CentOS, RHEL, or Ubuntu).
- Expertise in DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO, SMTP, SSL, and Office 365 integration.
- Proficiency with VMware, SAN architectures, and remote infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, VBScript) and load balancers (e.g., F5, HAProxy).
- Experience with network technologies, including VLANs, subnets, IP routing, Cisco switches, ASA firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Eligibility for US Federal security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL, SCCM, Ivanti, and VOIP systems.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
