LegalMatch Philippines is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the design, creation, and evolution of the tools, infrastructure, and practices that enable efficient product deployment at scale. You will be instrumental in automating workflows, optimizing cloud infrastructure, enhancing security, and mentoring the DevOps team within our dynamic legal tech environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment pipelines, and monitoring systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Lead DevOps strategy by collaborating with teams to identify and address challenges in workflows and processes.
- Drive system security by implementing best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers to foster a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Act as the technical lead for resolving complex issues and ensuring high system availability.
- Optimize cloud performance and costs while mitigating risks to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into the infrastructure.
- Build fault-tolerant systems and tools that empower developers to deploy securely and efficiently.
- Support 24/7 operations by participating in on-call rotations and ensuring quick issue resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of leading projects.
- Expertise in AWS Cloud Computing Solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD systems.
- Experience with Jenkins Pipeline Scripting.
- Strong skills in Networking, including IDS/IPS and VPNs (e.g., SonicWall/OpenVPN).
- Proficiency in Server Computing (Linux and Windows administration).
- Familiarity with Virtualization tools (e.g., HyperV, VMWare).
- Strong command-line scripting experience (e.g., BASH, PowerShell, DOS Batch).
- Proficiency in Source Code Management using GIT and related services (e.g., Bitbucket).
- Deep understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps.
- Ability to design and manage fault-tolerant systems.
- Proactive with an outcome-oriented mindset.
- Strong in problem-solving, capable of handling complex challenges under pressure.
