Prime System Solutions is seeking a System & Network Engineer (Level-I) to remotely oversee, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. You will provide technical expertise in system and network administration to ensure the seamless operation and security of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
What You'll Do
- Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Manage and maintain server environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, using Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
- Support and administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments.
- Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access.
- Monitor, configure, and manage security protocols, including intrusion detection/prevention systems and anti-virus solutions.
- Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch management.
- Work with clients to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues.
- Use remote management tools to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot problems across various client environments.
- Administer VMWare environments, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of virtual servers.
- Provide expertise in cloud services, particularly Azure.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide effective IT solutions and support.
- Utilize ticketing systems to track, manage, and resolve support requests.
- Ensure proper documentation of all configurations, troubleshooting efforts, and solutions.
- Proactively monitor network and system performance using monitoring tools.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of firewall technologies.
- Deep understanding of virtualization platforms, such as VMWare.
- Experience working with remote access tools, monitoring platforms, and ticketing systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A strong capacity for working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
