Deloitte Luxembourg is hiring a System Engineer to join our Internal IT department and Infrastructure team. You will support daily operations and take responsibility for the security and network components that form our core technological environment.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of daily operations including changes, incidents, and troubleshooting to keep our business-critical infrastructure running smoothly.
- Install, configure, and maintain security and network components such as Firewalls, Proxies, SIEM, and campus switches.
- Pro-actively safeguard system security and availability through level-3 support, advanced troubleshooting, and robust backup strategies.
- Verify compliance with security policies, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and translate technical insights into clear reports.
- Create and maintain procedures and documentation to structure the environment and support knowledge sharing.
What We're Looking For
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a security and network administrator.
- Solid hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet) and network equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI).
- Fluent in French and English, with strong communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of Netskope Proxy, F5 Load Balancer, and Nginx.
- Good knowledge of Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, and ISR/ASR routers.
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
