Valon Tech is looking for a System Conversion Project Manager to quarterback the onboarding of new enterprise clients onto ValonOS, our AI-native servicing platform. You will lead the intricate technical process of converting client data and documents from legacy mortgage servicing systems into ValonOS, ensuring smooth, on-time migrations.

What You'll Do

Develop deep expertise in the Valon Data Schema (VDS) to become a subject matter expert.
Build client-specific conversion project plans to fully migrate all data and documents into ValonOS.
Coordinate with client stakeholders to schedule and lead conversion mapping meetings.
Prepare clear agendas and supporting materials for each session.
Facilitate mapping sessions to capture how each client data field translates into VDS.
Track deliverables, open questions, and dependencies, ensuring all action items are completed.
Record and distribute detailed meeting notes and next steps.
Partner with the client's data team to obtain final approval of mappings.
Coordinate internal syncs between Valon's Data Mapping Analyst, engineering, and leadership to keep the project on track.
Proactively identify and clear blockers, escalating as needed.
Document the full conversion process upon completion, noting reusable steps and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience in project management, ideally in mortgage servicing or financial technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

Deep understanding of mortgage servicing concepts, including loan documents, data fields, and terminology.
Proven project management excellence with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple high-velocity projects on tight deadlines.
Experience working with legacy large-scale servicing systems.
Hands-on experience coordinating system or data conversions, such as 'bank copy' migrations.
