Community Health Network is hiring a Surgical Services Support Technician to play a vital role in our surgical services operations. Our community-based network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care. In this role, you will ensure surgeons and clinical staff have what they need by preparing and maintaining supplies, equipment, and rooms.
What You'll Do
- Check case cart supplies.
- Turn rooms over for surgeries.
- Pull supplies for add-on cases, including suture and medicine.
- Manage changes made on the schedule for suture, medicine, and supplies.
- Return supplies from previous cases.
- Fill water supply area.
- Set up rooms for the evening.
- Run errands to locations such as the blood bank, breast center, and lab.
- Order extra supplies needed for cases.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of job-related experience in pulling supplies from preference cards.
